PT Vale Indonesia Tbk (Vale Indonesia), formerly known as PT International Nickel Indonesia, Tbk (PTI), is a foreign investment company (PMA) licensed by the Indonesian government to conduct nickel exploration, mining, processing, and production. The company was founded in July 1968.
We currently operate on Sulawesi Island under a Contract of Work (CoW) agreement with the Indonesian government. The Company signed the first CoW agreement with the government on July 27, 1968. Then, on January 15, 1996, we signed a modification and extension agreement for the initial CoW, which is valid from April 1, 2008, to December 28, 2025.
On Tuesday, March 27 2012, one of the Informatics Engineering alumni from the class of 1994, who works at the company as Manager of SAP Indonesia, Mr. Suparam Bayu Aji, visited the Informatics Study Program and gave a guest lecture entitled Change Management in IT InvestmentIn the lecture attended by SIE course participants and IF2009 and IF2008 students, he explained how to apply change management to one of the projects handled by the company where he works.
