Berbekal Keteguhan Hati, Ainge WF Taklukkan INC 2016
Three students from the Informatics Engineering Study Program won the competition again competitive programming (CP) national scene. The Ainge WF team consisting of Luqman Arifin Siswanto (Informatics Engineering 2013), Aufar Gilbran (Informatics Engineering 2013), and Wiwit Rifa'i (Informatics Engineering 2013) successfully won 1st place in Indonesia National Contest (INC) 2016, held online on Sunday (October 9, 2016), attracted teams from universities across Indonesia. Step by step, Ainge WF has achieved a record that ITB is proud of.

The five-hour competition presented 11 sets of problems for each team, each consisting of three members. During this time, they had to work hard to find the correct solution to each problem. This was the first time the Ainge WF team had gathered and worked together. Previously, Ainge WF had only been able to practice regularly. remote and individuals in the midst of their busy lives. However, they still make time to work on questions and study. competitive programming in a way online on existing sites. Ultimately, commitment, effort, and intention to practice regularly produce extraordinary achievements.

When someone begins a struggle, it's impossible for them to do so with a heart filled with doubt. But sometimes, they wonder if what they're doing now is the right decision. When they look at the paths of others, it seems they're already far above. It's hard to keep moving forward when they think that no matter what they've done so far, it hasn't made it easier to climb the path they're on now. Meanwhile, they themselves are still left behind, starting to think about going back down and changing their path.
The Ainge WF team also experienced this. In their seventh semester at ITB, many of their peers were already working on projects, interning at prestigious institutions, earning their own money, successfully developing great software, or building connections with companies. There were times when they compared themselves to others, feeling uncertain because their field was more difficult to pursue as an entrepreneur, or something similar. One member of the Ainge WF team admitted that he had considered changing his path.
In the end, they tried to refocus and strive on the path they had climbed so far. They didn't care about the discouraging comments from those around them. Slowly but surely, they eliminated the doubts in their hearts and decided to keep fighting until they reached the top. "Don't be discouraged about what you are doing now," said Aufar, one of the Ainge WF team members. "Maybe your friends have already made their own money, have salaries, and are financially stable. That's all right. But don't let that discourage you. For example, CP may not make money, but on the other hand, it trains your logic and helps you understand the lessons. Don't worry, what you are doing is definitely beneficial and will be useful for you in the future. You have to stay confident and keep trying."
