AOTULE 2017, Strengthening Cooperation between Engineering Education Institutions in Asia-Oceania

The 2017 AOTULE Summer School Program was held again at ITB, with STEI as the host. This year the event was held for two weeks, from July 17, 2017 to July 29, 2017. This activity was attended by ITB students and students from international campuses that are members of AOTULE. AOTULE participants this time came from 3 universities, namely Tokyo Institute of Technology, National Taiwan University, and KAIST. The number of participants was 12 people, with 5 participants from international campuses and 7 participants from ITB.

This year, AOTULE's theme is "Internet of Things." Participating students received lectures and presentations from IoT experts and created projects for presentation. Participants also had the opportunity to take a city tour, visit tourist attractions, and learn about Bandung, the host city.

AOTULE began in 2007 as an association of thirteen leading engineering institutions in Asia and Oceania. AOTULE promotes collaboration between universities through joint programs such as conferences, deans' meetings, student workshops, and student exchanges. This is expected to improve the quality of engineering education and research at its member institutions.
