In early 2017, Bukalapak launched its latest initiative, BukaTalks. This initiative aims to improve the self-efficacy of young Indonesians through... sharing Information in the form of seminars and discussion forums. Through these activities, Bukalapak hopes to ignite young people's creativity in an increasingly digital world. These activities are open to the public. Bukatalks will be held monthly at the Bukalapak office, featuring engaging speakers.
One of the retired lecturers of STEI ITB, Dr. Ir. M.M. Inggriani, had the opportunity to be a resource person at BukaTalks. During the discussion, Ms. Inge, as she is usually called, presented the topic of Computational Thinking and how information technology education has progressed in various countries. Ms. Inge is currently active as a mentor. TOKI (Indonesian Computer Olympiad Team). Bebras NBO, a Computational Thinking challenge community that is attended by approximately 50 countries in the world.
Computational Thinking is an approach to the learning process that plays a crucial role in computer application development. In short, through Computational Thinking, software developers are expected to develop a thought process that involves formulating a problem and its solution.
