Two SEEI ITB Telecommunication Engineering Students Advance to the Final Stage of KIMVETNAS 2025

Bandung, stei.itb.ac.id – Two students from the School of Electrical Engineering and Informatics (SEEI) ITB, Telecommunication Engineering Study Program—Muhammad Bintang Rafie Paslan and Aziz Ridhwan Pratama—successfully advanced to the final stage of the National Veterinary Student Scientific Paper Competition (KIMVETNAS) 2025. The competition is organized by Universitas Gadjah Mada, with the final round to be held at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, UGM.

This year, KIMVETNAS carries the theme “Bring the Harmony of Animal Health: Innovating Animal Nutrition for Animal Health and a Sustainable Future,” with one of the subthemes highlighting the role of technology. On this occasion, the SEEI ITB student team introduced an innovation they named VITALIN. . .

VITALIN is a technology-based solution that combines a wearable device to monitor animals’ vital conditions in real time with a web-based dashboard that displays health data and provides feed recommendations according to nutritional needs. Through this approach, VITALIN is expected to help maintain animal health while supporting more sustainable livestock practices.

Throughout the competition, the students emphasized the importance of communication and collaboration within the team to integrate ideas and strengthen strategy. This achievement demonstrates that the technological competencies of SEEI ITB students can synergize across disciplines, make tangible contributions to animal health, and offer innovative solutions to future challenges.
