15 Informatics Engineering Students from STEI ITB Selected as Samsung Student Ambassadors 2014

On Friday, May 2, 2014, at the Meeting Room on the 2nd Floor of Labtek 5, Benny Subianto Building, the ITB School of Electrical Engineering and Informatics held the Samsung APP Challenge (Samsung Student Ambassador 2014).
The Samsung APP Challenge (Samsung Student Ambassador 2014) activity was opened by the Head of the Informatics Engineering Study Program, School of Electrical Engineering and Informatics, ITB, namely Dr. Ayu Purwarianti, then continued by the Head of the Committee of the Samsung APP Challenge (Samsung Student Ambassador 2014), namely Ronald Stevanus (Samsung Developer Evangelist).
After all teams or participants from ITB and Telkom University presented their program projects, the event continued with the announcement of the winners and the awarding of prizes.

And as the first champion from Informatics Engineering students of the School of Electrical Engineering and Informatics, namely Gamma IDE Team consist of Genta Indra Winata, James Jaya, Ignatius Evan Daryanto with the program name Groovesync. Runner up that is Sharon LohTimotius Kevin, Arie Tando with the program name Lava Choko Cake.

The third champion namely the Ganesha 001 Team consisting of Samuel Cahyawijaya, Jordan Fernando, Nikodemus Adriel Limanthie. The first runner-up is the Starvingbarin Team, consisting of Stefanus Thobi Sinaga, Johannes Ridho Hutabalian, Ananta Pandu. The second runner-up is Vincentius Martin, Aji Kasmaji, Ventina Claudia.

Applications developed by the Gamma IDE Team, Groove Sync, is a music-based application. The idea stemmed from the development of the entertainment industry in Indonesia, particularly in the music industry. Through this app, music lovers who frequently use similar apps to search for or listen to music will experience the new sensation of being able to play musical instruments simultaneously. Furthermore, users can save their own compositions through the storage application provided by the app. Groove Sync This.
