The young Indonesian innovators who made it to the final round are preparing to compete on the international stage. The three winning teams in Indonesia will then compete globally.

The three teams, of course, if they qualify for the next round, will represent Indonesia in the real match in the Imagine Cup 2014 World Semifinals in Seattle, United States on July 29 2014.

Risman Adnan, Developer and Platform Group Director, Microsoft Indonesia explained that the Imagine Cup is present as a catalyst for Indonesian students to continue to innovate by using various Microsoft technologies.

"This year, the Indonesian Imagine Cup finalists have become even more creative in designing and producing innovative, high-quality, and sophisticated applications. This means the Indonesian finalists are even more prepared to compete and have a great chance of winning again and bringing honor to the nation at the global Imagine Cup," said Risman.

"Of the 748 students and college students who registered for the 2014 Imagine Cup this year across Indonesia, we have selected the nine best finalist teams for the final round. These teams advanced through the semifinals, which took place on March 22nd," he added.
