First Semester Meeting for Academic Year 2020-2021 for Undergraduate and Postgraduate Students

It's been five months since the first case of COVID-19 was announced in Indonesia, and cases are still increasing. Maintaining health protocols has become mandatory, including avoiding gatherings and crowds, and opting to spend more time in crowded places or at home. Consequently, this has impacted academic activities.

Unlike previous years, this year, students welcomed the new academic year from their respective homes and attended classes online. However, this did not deter the academic community from gathering together. Thanks to available technology, on Friday, August 14, 2020, all active students in undergraduate and graduate programs were able to gather for the 2020-2021 Academic Year First Semester Gathering for Undergraduate and Graduate Students, held via Zoom. In addition to Zoom, the event was also broadcast live on YouTube.

The event was attended directly by the Dean of STEI 2020-2025, Dr. Tutun Juhana, ST., MT., Vice Dean for Academic Affairs Dr.techn. Saiful Akbar, ST, MT., and Vice Dean for Resources Dr. Widyawardana Adiprawita, ST., MT. In the event, the Dean was present to welcome students in the new academic year, provide motivation and inspiration in facing the new academic year amidst the pandemic, and introduce the staff at the School of Electrical Engineering and Informatics.
