Technology in Medical Diagnostic Imaging

On Wednesday, April 13, 2011, the Biomedical Engineering Research Group held a Seminar or Public Lecture with the theme “Technology in Medical Diagnostic Imaging”. The lecture, which took place in the Multimedia Room STEI ITB, Benny Subianto Building, 4th Floor, was presented by Albertus Aryo Wicaksono, GE Healthcare Indonesia.

He explained about the introduction of technology in medical diagnostic imaging and gave a preview of companies that work/conduct research on medical diagnostic imaging, such as GE, Siemens, Philips, Toshiba Hitachi, Picker and so on.

Apart from that, he also explained briefly about xray, ultrasound, CT scan, MRI as well as health imagination and green technology.
