SEEI ITB Showcases Excellence at the 2025 ITB Open House: Inspiring Through Technological Innovation
Bandung, stei.itb.ac.id – As part of the 2025 ITB Education Open House series, the School of Electrical Engineering and Informatics (SEEI) of the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) once again made an inspiring contribution. The event, held from 3 to 5 January 2025, took place at Sasana Budaya Ganesha (SABUGA) ITB and featured various activities that attracted visitors, ranging from consultations and exhibitions to cutting-edge technology workshops.
Over three consecutive days, the Selasar Area of SABUGA ITB became a focal point of attention. SEEI ITB showcased various flagship innovations and provided visitors with opportunities to consult directly about study programs, research activities, and career prospects in the fields of technology and engineering.
On Saturday, 4 January 2025, SEEI ITB held a presentation session and talk show at Dream Stage 1, North Wing of SABUGA. In the session, which took place from 15:35 to 16:55 WIB, representatives of SEEI ITB discussed various technological innovations relevant to contemporary challenges, while also sharing insights into how SEEI ITB serves as a center for technological development in Indonesia.
The highlight of SEEI ITB’s participation was a technology workshop held on Sunday, 5 January 2025, from 09:15 to 10:30 WIB at Inspiration Stage 1, North Wing Selasar. The workshop featured innovative themes, including: .. . . ..
- AI Networking with a Smart Surveillance Case Study, introducing visitors to how artificial intelligence supports intelligent monitoring.
- Radio Frequency Transmitters Using Software-Defined Radio (SDR), a technology that opens opportunities for exploring modern communications.
- Fundamentals of Routing and Switching, providing an in-depth understanding of computer networking foundations.
The workshop was designed to offer visitors hands-on experience with the application of innovative technologies in everyday life, while also fostering the younger generation’s interest in the world of technology.
SEEI ITB’s active participation in the 2025 ITB Education Open House reflects its commitment to being part of the best home for learning in Indonesia, as conveyed by the Rector of ITB in the event’s opening remarks. Through these activities, SEEI ITB not only showcased research outcomes and innovations but also contributed to building an inclusive and inspiring educational ecosystem.
