SEEI ITB Receives Visit from the University of Groningen for Strategic Partnership Exploration

Bandung, stei.itb.aci.id On Friday, 14 November 2025, SEEI ITB welcomed a delegation from the University of Groningen to explore opportunities for establishing a strategic partnership with Institut Teknologi Bandung. The visit served as an opportunity for both institutions to gain a deeper understanding of each other, particularly regarding SEEI’s academic ecosystem, research activities, and supporting facilities.

As part of the agenda, the University of Groningen delegation visited the Control and Computer Systems Laboratory to observe firsthand the research and learning activities taking place within SEEI. Their interest in SEEI’s research strengths and collaboration potential became one of the key highlights during the discussions.

The event was attended by Prof. Dr. Ir. Jacquelin Scherpen, Rector of the University of Groningen. Through this meeting, SEEI ITB hopes to strengthen academic relations with the University of Groningen and to encourage future collaboration in research, innovation, and human resource development.
