STEI ITB Receives a Visit from PT Sekisui Polymatech Indonesia to Strengthen Industrial Collaboration

Bandung, stei.itb.ac.id – The School of Electrical Engineering and Informatics (STEI) of the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) received a visit from PT Sekisui Polymatech Indonesia on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, at the Faculty Lounge of STEI ITB, Labtek VIII Building, 2nd Floor, ITB Ganesha Campus. This activity is part of an effort to strengthen the relationship between higher education and industry, particularly in developing cooperation in the fields of electrical engineering and informatics.

The visit was a follow-up to a request for an audience submitted by PT Sekisui Polymatech Indonesia to STEI ITB. In an official response letter issued on April 29, 2026, STEI ITB expressed its readiness to welcome the visit and discuss potential future collaborations.

The meeting took place from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. WIB and involved several study program leaders and representatives from STEI ITB's collaboration programs. Among the lecturers present were the Head of the Electrical Engineering Study Program, the Head of the Telecommunications Engineering Study Program, the Head of the Electrical Power Engineering Study Program, the Head of the Biomedical Engineering Study Program, and the Chair of the STEI ITB National Collaboration Team.

Through this activity, STEI ITB hopes to open up opportunities for broader synergy with the industrial sector, including in education, research, technology development, and human resource competency development. Collaboration between universities and industry is considered crucial to address the challenges of increasingly dynamic technological developments and support the needs of the future workforce.
