STEI ITB Receives Excellence Award from LAM Teknik for Three of Its Study Programs

Bandung, stei.itb.ac.id - The School of Electrical Engineering and Informatics (STEI) ITB has successfully achieved the predicate of excellence for three of its study programs, namely Electrical Engineering, Electrical Power Engineering. Telecomm EngineeringThe announcement was made by the Independent Accreditation Institute for Engineering Study Programs (LAM Teknik) on April 7, 2023.

This achievement is a proud achievement for STEI ITB, after previously successfully achieving accreditation from Indonesian Accreditation Board for Engineering Education (IABEE) for its four engineering study programsWith the excellent predicate from LAM Teknik, STEI ITB further solidifies its position as one of the best engineering universities in Indonesia.

The Independent Engineering Accreditation Institute is an independent accreditation institution tasked with carrying out the accreditation process for engineering study programs in Indonesia. Based on Law No. 12 of 2012 concerning Higher Education Article 55 paragraph 6, for study programs implemented by the Independent Accreditation Institute (LAM), so that the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN-PT) will focus more on developing a national accreditation system and conducting accreditation at the level of higher education institutions.

This superior predicate from LAM Teknik is expected to be a motivation and inspiration for all students, lecturers, and educational staff of STEI ITB to continue to excel and produce innovations that are beneficial to society and the industrial world.
