STEI ITB and IT Del Sign Agreement for Undergraduate–Master's Degree Program
Bandung, stei.itb.ac.id – The School of Electrical Engineering and Informatics, Institut Teknologi Bandung, welcomed an official visit from a delegation of Institut Teknologi Del (IT Del) on Tuesday, May 26, 2025, at the STEI ITB Meeting Room, Labtek VIII, 2nd Floor. The visit was marked by the ceremonial signing of a Cooperation Agreement (PKS) for the Bachelor’s–Master’s Pathway Program, a strategic step that opens broader access for Indonesia’s top students to further develop their academic capacity.
The IT Del delegation consisted of representatives from the IT Del Faculty of Vocational Studies and the IT Del Faculty of Informatics and Electrical Engineering. Through this ceremony, the two institutions officially formalized an academic cooperation mechanism that enables graduates of IT Del’s undergraduate programs to pursue master’s studies at STEI ITB through a pathway mutually agreed upon by both parties.
The event was attended by the Rector of IT Del, Prof. Dr. Arnaldo Marulitua Sinaga, S.T., M.InfoTech., who led the delegation during this historic visit. From STEI ITB, the presence of the Dean of STEI ITB, Prof. Dr. Ir. Tutun Juhana, S.T., M.T., I.P.U., and the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs of STEI ITB, Dr. techn. Muhammad Zuhri Catur Candra, S.T., M.T., affirmed ITB’s strong commitment to building strategic partnerships with other technology-focused higher education institutions in Indonesia.

The Bachelor’s–Master’s Pathway Program is designed to shorten the duration of study while enhancing graduate quality through an integrated curriculum between the two institutions. Students who meet the academic requirements may take advantage of this pathway to earn a master’s degree from STEI ITB, with recognition of the academic achievements they have completed during their undergraduate studies at IT Del.

Both institutions also hope that this collaboration will not be limited to the bachelor’s–master’s pathway program, but will continue to expand into joint research collaboration, faculty exchange, and industry involvement in the development of competency-based curricula. The synergy between STEI ITB, as a center of excellence in technological research and innovation, and IT Del, with its strong base in North Sumatra, is expected to make a significant contribution to Indonesia’s national higher education ecosystem in technology.
The signing of this Cooperation Agreement marks a new chapter in the partnership between STEI ITB and IT Del, while also representing a concrete commitment from both institutions to strengthening a technology-based higher education system that is inclusive, competitive, and oriented toward Indonesia’s future development needs.
