STEI ITB Host Guest Lecture on AI for Traffic Management System in UK
Bandung, stei.itb.ac.id – School of Electrical Engineering and Informatics (STEI) ITB held an event Guest Lecturer which presents Dr. Jonathan Wakefield, International Relations Manager in School of Computing and Engineering . University of Huddersfield. He was accompanied by Suet Tin Chew, Regional Representative of the University of Huddersfield. This event carries the topic “AI for Traffic Management System in UK” and took place in the Labtek Meeting Room VIII 2nd Floor STEI ITB.
This event was also attended by the Deputy Dean of Academic Affairs STEI ITB, Dr.techn. Saiful Akbar, ST., MT., several Heads of Study Programs, as well as the Head of the Center for Electrical and Informatics Systems and Technology, Dr. Joko Suryana, ST., MT.
In her presentation, Dr. Jonathan Wakefield explained various implementations of AI in the UK's traffic management system, including how this technology can improve efficiency and road safety. Suet Tin Chew also provided a regional perspective on educational and research collaborations between the University of Huddersfield and educational institutions in Asia.
Deputy Dean of Academic Affairs STEI ITB, Dr.techn. Saiful Akbar, ST., MT., expressed appreciation for the arrival of the speakers and emphasized the importance of international collaboration in the development of technology in the field of electrical and informatics.
The event concluded with an interactive Q&A session, where participants had the opportunity to discuss the topics directly with Dr. Jonathan Wakefield and Suet Tin Chew. The participants, consisting of students and lecturers, were very enthusiastic and gained new insights into the development of AI technology in traffic management.
