Strengthening Academic Governance, Faculty of Computer Science UPN “Veteran” Jakarta Visits STEI ITB
Bandung, stei.itb.ac.id — The School of Electrical Engineering and Informatics, Institut Teknologi Bandung (STEI ITB), welcomed a delegation from the Faculty of Computer Science of UPN “Veteran” Jakarta on Monday (9/3/2026). The visit was part of a benchmarking initiative and an effort to strengthen institutional collaboration in study program management, academic quality improvement, as well as research development and inter-institutional partnerships.
The delegation from the Faculty of Computer Science UPN “Veteran” Jakarta was led by the Dean, Prof. Dr. Ir. Supriyanto, S.T., M.Sc., IPM., accompanied by members of the faculty leadership, including Vice Dean for Academic Affairs Erly Krisnanik, S.Kom., M.M., and Vice Dean for Finance and General Affairs Dr. Bambang Saras Yulistiawan, S.T., M.Kom.. In total, nine delegates participated in the visit.
The meeting, held at STEI ITB, served as a forum for both institutions to exchange best practices in managing study programs in the fields of informatics and electrical engineering. The discussion covered various aspects, including strategies to enhance the quality of education, strengthen academic governance, and develop a research ecosystem that encourages inter-institutional collaboration.
In addition, the dialogue highlighted broader opportunities for cooperation, including potential collaboration in academic activities, joint research initiatives, and the exchange of experiences in higher education management within the fields of technology and informatics.
Through this meeting, both parties expressed the hope of fostering closer ties between STEI ITB and the Faculty of Computer Science UPN “Veteran” Jakarta, while opening opportunities for collaboration that can contribute meaningfully to the advancement of education, research, and innovation in Indonesia.
