Penandantanganan MoU ITB – Kabupaten Tabalong

Taking place in the East Hall of ITB, Wednesday, March 9 2011, a cooperation agreement was signed between Institut Teknologi Bandung with the Government Kabupaten Tabalong Kalimantan Selatan.

Tabalong Regency is a regency in South Kalimantan province, Indonesia. The regency capital is Tanjung City. The regency covers an area of 3,496 km² and has a population of 218,954 (according to the 2010 Indonesian Population Census). The regency's motto is "Saraba Kawa" in Banjarese, meaning "All-Able."

The signing of the MoU, signed by the Chancellor of ITB, Prof. Akhmaloka, Ph.D. and the Regent of Tabalong, Drs. H. Rachman Ramsy, M.Si, agreed to collaborate in the fields of education, procurement and training of human resources and apparatus, research and community service within the Tabalong Regency Government for 3 years.
