SEEI ITB Students Win 2nd Place at Teknofest Turkiye 2025
Bandung, stei.itb.ac.id – Four students from the Electrical Engineering Study Program of the School of Electrical Engineering and Informatics (SEEI) ITB achieved an outstanding accomplishment at Teknofest Turkiye 2025, the largest technology and aerospace festival in Europe. They successfully won 2nd Place in the Chip Design competition under the Microcontroller Design category.
The team consisted of Irfan Nurhakim Hilmi, Nur Dawam Abdan Syakuro, Avila Khadhibyan, and Randy Revaldo Pratama. Each member played a crucial role, ranging from architecture design, LDPC Encoder implementation, to system verification and physical design.
The competition took place from February 2025 through three stages: the Preliminary Design Report and Detailed Design Report, which were conducted online, followed by the final stage in the form of a Final Presentation held at Atatürk Airport, Istanbul. The team competed closely with students from various universities across Turkiye.

With a clear task division strategy and strong team communication, the SEEI ITB team successfully balanced academic responsibilities and competition preparation, ultimately securing second place at the international level. This achievement serves as evidence of the ability of SEEI ITB students to compete and contribute to the advancement of global technology.
