STEI Students Thrive at Big Data & Machine Learning Hackathon
The team from the Informatics study program at STEI ITB almost swept all the championship titles in the programming competition (hackaton) with the theme Big Data & Machine Learning organized by KUDO, a company ecommerce Indonesia. The competition is named CODEFEST KUDO 2016 held on 28-29 May 2016 in the KUDO office area, Jakarta.
A total of 79 participating teams were challenged to solve problems using efficient algorithms, a little error,and of course it can produce data that can later be processed to help the surrounding environment get the most appropriate solution.
As a result, the STEI team won first place, second place, and favorite. The remaining title (3rd place) was won by a team from Traveloka, an Indonesian online travel company. Here's a list of the STEI team winners:
