SEEI ITB Laboratory Staff Receive Top Award at the 2024 National Dissemination of Laboratory Innovation Works

Bandung, stei.itb.ac.id – At the National Dissemination of Laboratory Innovation Works organized by the Directorate of Resources of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology (Kemdiktisaintek) on 28–30 November 2024, Aih Diniresna, Irwan Zaenal Nurhidayat, and Robby Roswanda successfully received the First Best Innovation Award in the Health Demonstration category. This proud achievement was attained through their work entitled “Development of a Low-Cost and Portable Arduino Nano Microcontroller-Based Visible Light Spectrophotometer for Measuring Antioxidants in Plant Samples.” . . .. ..

Irwan Zaenal Nurhidayat, one of the members of the winning team, is a laboratory staff member from the School of Electrical Engineering and Informatics (SEEI) of the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB). This work reflects the collaborative efforts of laboratory staff across Indonesia in producing sustainable innovations that can be practically implemented, particularly in the health sector.

The three-day dissemination event was filled with various seminar sessions, discussions, and exhibitions of innovative works. In the Health Demonstration KILab session, the SEEI ITB team stood out among other participants thanks to the innovative solution they presented. ..

This success serves as evidence of the tangible contribution of SEEI ITB laboratory staff in supporting research and technological development in Indonesia. Through this award, it is hoped that more laboratory staff will be inspired to innovate and strengthen collaboration between academics, laboratory personnel, and industry.
