Visit of French University Representatives
Institut Teknologi Bandung, Wednesday, March 16 2011, received visits from lecturers and researchers from French doctorate schools, such as INP ENSEEIHT, Universite de Toulouse, Ecole Centrale Nantes, Universite d'Artois & SPI Lille, Universite de Haute Alsace, Universite de Technologie Compiegne, Universite d'Alx Marseille 3, Universite de Bretagne Sud IJEB and Universite de la Mediterranee.
The event, held at Rapim A in the ITB Annex Building, is expected to serve as a detailed exploration of potential collaborations related to dissertations in all fields. Indeed, today, world-class universities cannot thrive without a strong network between education and research, and it is doctoral students who bridge the gap.
In this collaboration, the French Embassy has offered young teachers to provide BGF (French Government Scholarship) which will provide funds to pay for study fees and social security.
After the meeting at Anex was over, several representatives from them visited School of Electrical Engineering and Informatics to learn more about STEI, including Daniel Jolly from Universite d'Artois, Alain Glumineau from Institut de Recherche en Communications et Cybernetique de Nantes, Gilbert Pinot and Laurent Bigue from Ecole Nationale Superieure d'Ingenieurs Sud Alsace. Taking place in the STEI ITB Meeting Room, they were received by the Dean and several representatives of STEI lecturers.
