Public Lecture: Anang Khusaidi-PT. Unilever Indonesia

On Friday, March 28, 2014, at Room 9231 of the East General Lecture Building, ITB Campus, a public lecture was held by Anang Khusaidi (Electrical Engineering alumni STEI ITB) Senior Manager PT. Unilever Indonesia Manufacturing Manager Walls. He conveyed that Supply Chain Management is the coordination of materials, information and financial flows between participating companies. Supply chain management can also mean all types of basic commodity activities to the sale of final products to consumers to recycle used products.

• Material flows involve the flow of physical products from suppliers to consumers through the chain, as well as the reverse flows of product returns, services, recycling and disposal.
• Information flows include demand forecasts, order transmissions and order status reports, these flows run both ways between end consumers and raw material suppliers.

This general lecture is mandatory for students taking the EL4090 Final Assignment 1 (capstone design) course semester II-2013/2014.
