Public Temple by Professor Kenzo Takahashi

Taking place in the Multimedia Room of STEI ITB, Thursday, February 17, 2011, the Information Technology Study Program of STEI ITB held a public lecture delivered by Professor Kenzo Takahashi with the theme “Introduction of IEICE and Their Academic Activities”. He is the Director of International Relations of IEICE, and also the editor in Chief of IEICE Global-Plaza.

IEICE (The Institute of Electronics, Information and Communication Engineers) aims to research and exchange science and technology in electronics, information and communication, and contribute to technological progress and industrial development.

The lecture focused on the IEICE, UEC, and COOP WACE programs. IEICE is an international journal that facilitates its membership with quality journals and streamlined submission and acceptance processes. He also offers a one-year exchange program for senior undergraduate students at UEC. The COOP WACE program is a one-month internship with industry in Japan.
