ITPreneurship: The Startup Journey Starts Here
ITPreneurship This is intended for the general public entrepreneur young people in the field of information technology (IT) in Bandung, and this seminar is the first event in a series of Asian ITPreneur Talk events that will be held in various other countries in the Southeast Asia region. Technopreneur talk (tech talk) This was held in collaboration Batavia Incubator and Informatics Engineering Study Program STEI ITB and held in the West Hall, ITB on Saturday, May 12, 2012. Lichi Wu, a speaker from Singapore, shared his experience of “failure” from Google, Admob, Chalkboard, one of the well-known startups in Singapore. (Recently websiteclosed). The next speaker is Karaniya Dharmasaputri, she is the founder and CEO of Vivanews.com, namely the company IPO His first venture was related to the internet industry. He explained that his motivation for starting his business stemmed from "anger" over online news media being perceived as "trash media," full of lies and offering unimportant information. He left his position at a leading media outlet, Tempo, and joined several colleagues to change the public's perception of online news media.
In the next session, there is Willis Wee, CEO Tech in Asiaone of the largest media startups in Asia, and Rama Mamuaya, CEO Daily Social, salah satu media tech which is well-known in Indonesia. Willis' entrepreneurial spirit grew out of his childhood poverty. He shares his journey from the beginning until he found Tech in Asia at the age of 24. Next came Rama, a man who is famous among startup in this city, providing insight into startup in this country with a unique and humorous style. Lastly, Takeshi Ebihara, the founder of Batavia Incubator providing insights into startups in the Southeast Asia region and about What and How to Get Started Startup which are actually.
