Daniel is actively involved in reviewing and analyzing studies from ITU Radiocommunication Sector (ITU-R) to provide strategic recommendations for spectrum management in Indonesia. He also represents Indonesia in regional meetings discussing crucial issues related to spectrum management.

Beyond his primary focus on spectrum management, Daniel has also contributed to various other research related to information and communications technology. Some of his contributions include:
