Andriyan B. Suksmono is a Professor of Imaging and Signal Processing at the School of Electrical Engineering and Informatics, Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB), Indonesia. He earned his Bachelor's (S.Sc.) in Physics and Master's (M.T.) in Electrical Engineering from ITB, and his Doctorate (Ph.D.) from the Faculty of Engineering, The University of Tokyo, Japan.
His main research interests include Compressive Sensing, Radar, Subsurface Imaging, and Quantum Computing.
Dr. Suksmono is a Senior Member of IEEE, Distinguished Lecturer of IEEE Indonesia Section, ACM Distinguished Speaker, and Professional Member of ACM. He serves as a Member of the Editorial Board of Scientific Reports (Nature Portfolio), Editor of IJEEI, and Associate Editor of IJEHMC. In addition, he also serves as Chair of Bandung ACM Chapter and Head of the Center for Quantum Technology Research Collaboration 2.0 (BRIN–ITB–Telkom University). He has been a keynote speaker at various leading international conferences. In addition, he holds various patents and industrial designs, including a through-wall radar system and a portable radar device for ground monitoring.
