Accreditation Assessment of the Informatics Engineering Study Program at SEEI ITB

Bandung, stei.itb.ac.id – Following the field accreditation assessment of the Information Systems and Technology (STI) Study Program conducted on August 3–5, 2025, the Informatics Engineering Study Program of the School of Electrical Engineering and Informatics (SEEI) ITB subsequently underwent a field assessment by the Informatics and Computer Independent Accreditation Body (LAM INFOKOM) on August 7–9, 2025. This activity constituted an important part of the higher education quality assurance cycle that is carried out periodically to ensure that academic and non-academic processes are implemented in accordance with established standards.

Over the three-day period, the assessor team conducted a comprehensive review of various aspects related to the management of the Informatics Engineering Study Program. The review included the implementation of the PPEPP cycle (Establishment, Implementation, Evaluation, Control, and Improvement) as well as verification of the results of the Internal Quality Audit (AMI) as evidence of the execution of the quality assurance system within the study program. The activity also involved confirmation and clarification of data and documents that had been submitted previously.

The field assessment served not only as a means of verifying compliance with accreditation standards, but also as an opportunity for the study program to conduct reflection and self-evaluation. Through this process, the Informatics Engineering Study Program is expected to continue strengthening its academic quality, adapting to technological developments, and preparing graduates who are competitive at both national and global levels.
