NIVA Medical Device in Batch 1 Production Process (50 Units)

BANDUNG, stei.itb.ac.id – After carrying out Press Conference on December 23, 2022 between STEI-ITB and PT SCNP regarding cooperation in research and development activities of NIVA (Non-Invasive Vascular AnalyzerOne of the things that was emphasized during the press conference was the production of 100 NIVA units.

As Chief Operating Officer of PT SCNP Shirly Effendy once said, "SCNP has taken a bold step by producing and distributing 100 units of NIVA medical devices to the domestic market in 2023." , on February 8, 2023, SCNP together with STEI-ITB began producing 50 units of NIVA medical devices as the first stage (Batch 1).

NIVA itself is a non-invasive device. It uses a PPG (photoplethysmograph) sensor and a blood pressure sensor to analyze blood vessels within the human body.

Prof. Dr. Ir. Tati Latifah Erawati Rajab . Biomedical Engineering Research Groups as Team Leader in the creation of NIVA said “This tool is designed to measure vascular function with 6 parameters, and vascular risk levels for 5 parameters simultaneously,”
