PEDOMAN PERKULIAHAN
These guidelines and templates are specifically designed to guide students in carrying out their internships, preparing proposals, and final assignments in a structured and systematic manner. By following these guidelines, students are expected to understand the essential steps, from planning and implementation to reporting the results of their internships and final assignments, in accordance with standards. The templates provided are also designed to facilitate students in compiling documents in a standard and neat format, thus simplifying the evaluation and guidance process. These guidelines serve as the primary guideline for ensuring the internship and final assignment processes run smoothly, are focused, and produce high-quality work.
KERJA PRAKTIK
PERSYARATAN
- 7th & 8th semester students or close to 108 credits
- There is an official statement from the company stating that they accept the student applicant to carry out practical work.
LANGKAH – LANGKAH PELAKSANAAN
- Students who meet the requirements fill out a form to find information about the company where they will be doing their internship.
- Students fill out the KP application form at TU.
- TU informs the KP Coordinator/KP Supervisor of the KP topic and company.
- KP Coordinator/KP Supervisor approves the topic and company.
- Academic TU makes a KP application letter to the company.
- If accepted, TU will create a cover letter, attendance list and assessment form for the company.
- TU provides instructions for implementing KP, a list of KP students and an assessment form.
- The KP Coordinator/KP Supervisor is responsible for guiding students.
- Students do KP.
- Students make KP reports guided by the KP coordinator/KP supervisor.
- Students collect KP reports.
- The KP coordinator/KP supervisor checks and assesses the KP report.
- Academic TU incorporates KP values into DNA.

DESIGN AND SEMINAR PROPOSALS
REQUIREMENTS FOR STUDENTS TO TAKE DESIGN AND SEMINAR PROPOSALS
- Have passed a minimum of 108 credits (calculated from TPB).
- Take credit EP4002 Design Proposal and Seminar in FRS.
- Register yourself at the Study Program Administration by filling out the Design Proposal and Seminar Registration form (FPTA1) which is approved by the Advisor.
PROCEDURES FOR STUDENTS TO START DESIGN PROPOSALS AND SEMINARS
- Students take the Final Assignment Registration (FPTA) form at the Study Program Administration Office.
- The completed FPTA form is submitted to the Student Advisor for approval.
- The FPTA form in point 2 is submitted to the Final Project Team for approval and recommendations to several (2 to 5) prospective TA Supervisors.
- Students consult with the lecturers who are prospective Supervisors I by bringing the FPTA form.
- Students rank the topics of their chosen Final Project within a maximum of 1 week from the date of approval from the TA Team.
- If necessary, Supervisor I who has been selected in point 5 determines Supervisor 2 who is approved by the TA Team
- The supervisor selected in points 5 and 6 must sign the Final Project Supervision Willingness Form (FKMTA).
- Students submit the KPTA form to KTA.
- Students carry out their final assignment.
- Students fill out the Final Project Implementation Progress (FKTA) form which must be initialed by the supervisor every time they have a routine consultation (once every 1 or 2 weeks).
IMPLEMENTATION OF DESIGN AND SEMINAR PROPOSALS
- Final Assignment I load is equivalent to 2x5x16 = 160 working hours (10 hours per week).
- Each supervisor provides a log book for each student he/she supervises.
- Monitoring of the progress of the Design Proposal and Student Seminar is carried out periodically once or twice a week by filling out the Final Project Progress Form (FKPTA1). FKPTA1 (green) is for the first semester, FKPTA1 (yellow) is for the second semester.
- Time limit for Student Design Proposals and Seminars: 1 semester, if deemed necessary can be extended up to 2 semesters.
- Seminars in the Design Proposal and Seminar courses should be filled with Final Project topics.
SEMINAR
- The seminar schedule is determined by the lecturer of MK EP4002 Design Proposal and Seminar.
- The seminar was organized and directed by the lecturer of MK EP4002 Design Proposal and Seminar.
- The paper must be consulted with and approved by the TA Supervisor and Lecturer of MK EP4002 Design Proposal and Seminar.
- Papers must be scientific in accordance with the field of Electrical Engineering and Informatics.

TUGAS AKHIR PERANCANGAN
STUDENT REQUIREMENTS FOR TAKING TUGAS AKHIR PERANCANGAN
- Have passed a minimum of 124 credits (calculated from TPB).
- Mengambil kredit EP4003 Tugas Akhir Perancangan.
- Register yourself at the Study Program Administration by filling out the Final Design Project Registration form (FPTA2) which has been approved by the Advisor.
PELAKSANAANTUGAS AKHIR PERANCANGAN
- The final design assignment load is equivalent to 4x5x16 = 320 working hours (20 hours per week).
- Each supervisor provides a log book for each student he/she supervises.
- Monitoring of the progress of students' Final Design Projects is carried out periodically once or twice a week by filling out the Final Project Progress Form (FKPTA2). FKPTA2 (green) is for the first semester, FKPTA2 (yellow) is for the second semester.
- Time limit for student Final Design Assignments: 1 semester, if deemed necessary can be extended up to 2 semesters.
PENGAJUAN SIDANG TUGAS AKHIR
- The final project has been completed, as indicated by the signing of the draft final project report (including its summary) by the supervisor. This report must follow the standard format for writing final project reports issued by STEI.
- Have completed or passed all courses.
- Fill out the Final Project Defense Registration Form (FPSTA) which has been approved by the Supervisor.
- Submit the FPSTA form in point 3 to the Final Project Hearing Team (STA Team) by bringing 3 copies of the draft Final Project report and its summary in point 1.
- The STA team will review the requirements (points 1 and 2) for the student's Final Project Defense application. If these requirements are met, the STA schedule will be issued by the STA team.
PELAKSANAAN SIDANG TUGAS AKHIR (STA)
- The STA implementation time will be arranged by the STA Team, and will take place during STA Week, once in each ITB graduation period.
- STA must be attended by at least TA students, 3 examiners, Supervisor I and Supervisor 2 (if there is a Supervisor 2).
- STA consists of 5 sessions:
- Opening (carried out by the STA chairperson) who invites students to enter and explains the procedures
- Pelaksanaan STA.
- Student presentations last 15 to 20 minutes.
- Discussion/question and answer session between examiner and students for a maximum of 30 minutes.
- A closed session (without students attending) of the examination team to determine whether students pass the STA by referring to the STA assessment provisions (see point 8).
- The graduation predicate was announced to the student in question by the head of STA.
- The question and answer material in point 3 above is about the TA worked on by the student in question and the lecture material supporting the TA.
- The STA examination team (consisting of the STA Chair and 2 members) provides an assessment of the answers to all relevant examiner questions.
- The three main components of the STA assessment are: student presentations, assessment of mastery of TA material and assessment of mastery of material in TA supporting lectures.
- The weight of the three components in item 6 is the same.
- The STA assessment conditions are: Very Good, Between Good and Very Good, Good, Between Good and Sufficient, Sufficient, and Failed / Must be retested.
