The Medicare team successfully represented ITB in the final round of the CHIuXiD 2017 Design Challenge. CHIuXiD 2017 (International Human-Computer Interaction and User Experience Conference in Indonesia) is an international conference held by the Indonesian Digital Interaction Association (Indonesia ACMSIGCHI Chapter).

CHIuXiD 2017 Design Challenge is an annual competition designed to demonstrate the problem-solving and design skills of students. This event, which is intended for undergraduate students, has entered its 3rd year and this year ITB is represented by the Medicare Team from the Informatics Engineering (IF) study program consisting of 2 students, namely M. Azwar Adli (IF 2013) and Fitra Rahmamuliani (IF 2013).

The selection process for the final round was quite rigorous. Participants were required to create an extended abstract outlining their interactive design idea, a video, and a poster. Of the dozens of teams that registered, the Medicare team advanced to the final round, where they presented their idea to international conference attendees and a panel of international judges. During the judging phase, in addition to their presentations, participants also demonstrated how their prototypes worked.

The Medicare team proposed an app design aimed at making it easier for users to access health information. This app allows users to access health information such as health articles, disease information, hospital information, health consultations, and an emergency health button.
