The Best Paper: Cyber Security for The Next Generation

Exciting news comes from Firman Azhari, a research assistant at the BlackBerry Innovation Center in Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB), a master's student at the Indonesian Institute of Technology (STEI) in Singapore. He won the best paper prize at the Asia Pacific and Middle East level in the Kaspersky Academy competition, which focused on Cyber Security for the Next Generation, held at NUS. www.kaspersky.com/educational-events.
Firman won first place, followed by winners from Hong Kong and South Africa.
Beating works from Japan, Malaysia, India, Australia, the Philippines and other countries.
Adapun judul papernya :  “Detection of Security Vulnerability in Indonesian NFC Application”.
Currently, Firman at BBIC is active in research on smart mobile payments and identifications.

Firman's work will then be competed at world level in London against 2x champions from America, Russia, and Europe this coming June.
