Second Day of ABET's Visit, February 1, 2011

The second day of ABET's visit to STEI ITB, Tuesday, February 1, 2011, began with a meeting between the Dean, Vice Dean of STEI and FTSL ITB, with ABET Team Chair and Program Evaluator, Patrick Usoro, and Nick Treddenick, held in the STEI meeting room, Achmad Bakrie Building, 2nd Floor. Also present on that occasion was a representative from the National Accreditation Board - Higher Education, Ir. Adam Pamudji Rahardjo, M.Sc. His visit was only as a supervisor.

After the meeting in the Meeting Room, ABET Program Evaluator, Nick Treddenick met and interviewed the Head of the Electrical Engineering Study Program, Yudi Satria Gondokaryono, Ph.D., and was also accompanied by Ir. Adam Pamudji Rahardjo, M.Sc. The meeting discussed lectures at STEI, especially in the Electrical Engineering Study Program.

In addition to having a dialogue with the Head of the Study Program, the ABET Evaluator Program also had a dialogue with lecturers in the STEI ITN environment, especially lecturers who teach in the Electrical Engineering study program, such as Prof. Dr. Kuspriyanto, Dr. Bambang Pharma, Dr. Irman Idris, Dr. Eniman Yunus Syamsuddin, Dr. Trio Adiono, Dr. Emir Husni, and Dr. Kusprasapta Mutijarsa.

After lunch, in the hallway of the Achmad Bakrie Building on the 2nd floor, the Team Chair and Program Evaluator met with the STEI Advisory Board, represented by Herman Darnel from the National Energy Council, Ary Mochtar Pedju from PT. Inconna.

In addition to meeting and having a dialogue with the Advisory Board, the Program Evaluator also had the opportunity to meet and have a dialogue with students about their lectures, in the multimedia room of the Signal and System Laboratory, Achmad Bakrie Building, 3rd floor. Another opportunity that Nick Treddenick also had was to see the teaching and learning atmosphere, namely in the Electronics lecture in room 9138.
