Two STEI Students Win Gold Medals at the 2021 KNMIPA Event
Two STEI students contributed to ITB winning the overall championship in the 2021 National Mathematics and Natural Sciences Competition (KNMIPA). The competition, held by the National Achievement Center of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology (Pusprenas Kemendikbud Ristek), is a national-level mathematics and science competition for higher education.
The selection process will be conducted online, given the ongoing pandemic. However, participants are required to have their cameras turned on during the selection process to reduce the possibility of cheating.
All participants were first selected at the university level starting in February 2021, then filtered down to the regional level and finally to the national level.
Two students from STEI who won medals at the 2021 KNMIPA event include:
- Kinantan Arya Bagaspati (13519044 – S1 Informatics Engineering 2019) – Gold Medal in Mathematics
- Christopher Chandra (18320033 – S1 Biomedical Engineering 2020) – Gold Medal in Biology
The entire academic community of STEI ITB congratulates the 2021 KNMIPA medalists. We hope that this achievement will inspire the academic community of STEI ITB to contribute to the glory of our alma mater.
