155 STEI Graduates Graduated at the October 2022 Graduation Ceremony
The School of Electrical Engineering and Informatics ITB held a faculty graduation ceremony for 155 STEI graduates who graduated on Sunday, October 23, 2022, at the ITB East Hall.
This event was held a day after ITB held its First Open Graduation Session for the 2022/2023 Academic Year for Doctoral, Masters, and Bachelor's Programs at the Sasana Budaya Ganesa (Sabuga) Building, Saturday, October 22, 2022.
At the October 2022 graduation ceremony, ITB inaugurated 155 STEI graduates: 108 from the undergraduate program, 44 from the master's program, and 3 from the doctoral program. Fifty-six graduates received cum laude (highly satisfactory) honors.
As the second in-person graduation ceremony since the COVID-19 pandemic emerged in Indonesia, STEI ITB implemented several preventive measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19 during the ceremony, including strict health protocols. Graduates unable to attend in person, as well as their parents and families, were able to follow the ceremony online through the Bandung Institute of Technology's YouTube channel and Zoom.
The event began with remarks from the dean of STEI ITB, Dr. Tutun Juhana, ST, MT. The graduates were then guided to sing the Indonesian national anthem by Arif Bintang Abdillah, a graduate of the Electrical Engineering Study Program. Present to give a motivational speech was Mr. Anang Achmad Latif, President Director of BAKTI Kominfo.
The graduates' representative speech was delivered by Ivandy Arifin Putra Noerrizky, a graduate of the Biomedical Engineering Study Program, the winner of the graduate speech competition. Also present was Mr. Bayu Hanantasena, ST, MS, a parent who delivered a speech on behalf of the graduates' parents.
The attendees were also entertained by a band featuring lecturers and graduates from the Electrical Engineering Study Program, Dedek Abdillah. Also present at the event was Burhanuddin Halimi, ST, MT, Ph.D., a lecturer from the Electrical Engineering Study Program and the person in charge of the Integrity Zone Program, who provided information about the Integrity Zone currently being explored by STEI ITB.
STEI once again congratulates the graduates graduating in the October 2022 graduation period. May the knowledge gained be utilized for the good of themselves and society. To God, Nation, and Alma Mater: Hail Ganesha!
