SEEI ITB Conducts Fogging Activity to Prevent Mosquito-Borne Diseases

Bandung, stei.itb.ac.id – In an effort to create a clean and healthy campus environment, the School of Electrical Engineering and Informatics (SEEI) ITB carried out a fogging activity on Saturday, July 26, 2025. This activity was a follow-up to Circular Letter Number 583/IT1.B05.8/TU.04/2025.

The fogging was focused on outdoor areas, drainage channels, window corridors, room corridors, panel rooms, toilets, and storage rooms. The main target locations were several buildings in the SEEI ITB Ganesha area, namely:

• Labtek VIII Floors 2, 3, and 4
• Labtek V Floors 2, 3, and 4
• Energy Conversion Building
• PLN Building (outdoor area only)
• Radar Laboratory Building

This activity involved a total of 14 personnel, consisting of 8 members from SEEI ITB and 6 members from the ITB K3L team. Fogging was carried out as a preventive measure against the spread of mosquito-borne diseases such as dengue fever, which have the potential to increase during the rainy season.

Through this activity, SEEI ITB hopes to continue maintaining a comfortable and healthy environment for the workplace and academic activities of the entire academic community.
