SEEI ITB and the Mimika Regency Office of Communication and Informatics Sign a Cooperation Agreement

Bandung, stei.itb.ac.id — The School of Electrical Engineering and Informatics (SEEI) ITB has established cooperation with the Office of Communication and Informatics (Diskominfo) of Mimika Regency. This collaboration was officially marked by the signing of a Cooperation Agreement (Perjanjian Kerja Sama/PKS), which took place on Thursday, September 11, 2025, at the Labtek VIII Meeting Room, 2nd Floor.

On this occasion, SEEI ITB was represented by Prof. Dr. Ir. Tutun Juhana, S.T., M.T., as Dean, while the Diskominfo of Mimika Regency was represented by Bernadina Yamangin, Acting Head of the Office.

Through this PKS, both parties commit to establishing collaboration in the field of information technology, as well as supporting the acceleration of digital transformation in Mimika Regency. This cooperation is expected to strengthen synergy between higher education institutions and local governments in delivering innovation, research, and the implementation of digital solutions that are relevant to the community.

The signing of this PKS marks an initial step in building a collaborative ecosystem that not only benefits regional development, but also provides opportunities for SEEI ITB to develop tangible contributions at the national level.
