SEEI ITB Undergraduate Informatics Program Achieves Top Rank in Indonesia at IEEExtreme 18.0

Bandung, stei.itb.ac.id – At the prestigious annual programming competition IEEExtreme 18.0, the Undergraduate Program in Informatics Engineering of the School of Electrical Engineering and Informatics (SEEI) at the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) achieved an outstanding accomplishment. The Codemaxxing team from SEEI ITB’s Informatics Engineering program secured 1st place in Indonesia and ranked 25th worldwide. This achievement is particularly remarkable given that the competition, organized by the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), was participated in by 8,785 participants worldwide, including 26 participants from Indonesia. . . . .

IEEExtreme is an intensive 24-hour non-stop programming competition that tests students’ programming skills from various countries. Within a limited time frame, participants are challenged to solve a series of high-difficulty problems using diverse programming languages and algorithmic approaches. The competition serves as a platform for students to demonstrate their expertise in programming and algorithms on an international stage, while also fostering collaboration and creativity in solving complex problems.

In addition to Codemaxxing team, several other teams from SEEI ITB also participated in IEEExtreme 18.0 and achieved commendable rankings:

2. DoaAyahRestuIbu – Rank 2 in Indonesia, Rank 220 Worldwide
3. Codeminning – Rank 4 in Indonesia, Rank 442 Worldwide

These achievements reflect the academic excellence and competitive strength of the SEEI ITB Undergraduate Informatics Engineering Program, as well as the strong spirit of its students to continuously compete and excel at the international level.
