ITB and Tsinghua SIGS Establish Strategic Collaboration for International Education and Research
Bandung, stei.itb.ac.id – The School of Electrical Engineering and Informatics, Institut Teknologi Bandung (SEEI ITB), welcomed a visit from a delegation of Tsinghua Shenzhen International Graduate School (Tsinghua SIGS), China, to explore strategic collaboration in the fields of international education and research. The activity took place on 25 April 2025 at the SEEI ITB Meeting Room, Labtek VIII, 2nd Floor. .. ..
The visit was attended by two professors from Tsinghua SIGS and three professors from SEEI ITB, and also involved representatives from ITB’s Directorate of Partnerships and the Vice Rector for Academic and Student Affairs (WRAM).

The main focus of the collaboration includes potential joint education programs such as student exchange, double degree schemes, as well as cross-institutional collaborative research. This initiative forms part of ITB’s efforts to expand its international network and enhance academic competitiveness at the global level.
The Dean of SEEI ITB, together with the heads of study programs of the Master of Informatics Program, warmly welcomed the Tsinghua SIGS delegation. In his remarks, the SEEI ITB leadership conveyed its commitment to establishing a sustainable and productive partnership through this collaboration opportunity.
The visit agenda also included two key sessions: a Collaboration Seminar titled “The Next Big Things: AI, Decision Support System, Digital Twin, Smart System, and Living Intelligence”, and a Study Abroad Info Session introducing the Tsinghua SIGS Master’s Program to the ITB academic community, particularly final-year undergraduate and postgraduate students interested in pursuing studies abroad. . . .. . . . .
Through this collaboration, SEEI ITB and Tsinghua SIGS hope to create synergy in the development of intelligent technologies and future systems based on artificial intelligence, supporting an inclusive and innovative global education ecosystem.
