Erasmus+ Student Exchange Program under ANRGI

Over one billion people worldwide still lack access to reliable energy. Through the ANRGI project, we aim to make a meaningful impact by innovating in technologies that make distributed energy resources, such as photovoltaic microgrids, to be scalable and sustainable.

ANRGI stands for Accessible, Natural, Renewable Growth, and Interaction/Implementation. The project is basically a multi-year research collaboration between Twente University and Bandung Institute of Technology and supported by KLIMOP, PT. LEN and BRIN. It is financed by Dutch NWO and Indonesian Menristekdikti.

The project focuses on drastically increasing energy access in remote areas through microgrids while reducing losses and waste of energy. These objectives are centered around a radical improvement in power quality, contributing to a cleaner and more efficient energy future.

One of the main activities supporting these objectives is the student exchange program with our partner in Indonesia, Bandung Institute of Technology, funded by Erasmus+. These exchanges provide Indonesian students with opportunities to engage with international experts, share knowledge, and collaborate on cutting-edge energy solutions. By fostering global partnerships and hands-on learning experiences, the program ensures that the next generation of engineers and innovators is well-equipped to contribute to increasing energy access in Indonesia.
