Kevin Marojahan Banjar Nahor was born in Bandar Lampung in 1993. He is an academic in the field of electrical engineering, particularly in electric power systems. Kevin earned his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Electrical Engineering from the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB), both with cum laude honors, in 2013 and 2014. His passion for research led him to continue his doctoral studies at the Grenoble Electrical Engineering Laboratory, France, and successfully obtained his doctorate from the University of Grenoble Alpes in 2019. During his studies and research, Kevin focused on the topics of power system planning and operation, power system and microgrid stability, and power system protection – areas that are very important in ensuring the reliability of electricity supply.

In addition to his active research, Kevin also maintains close collaborations with various industry stakeholders and professional organizations in the field of electric power systems in Indonesia, including PLN, Antam, Pertamina, PJCI, and others. In 2021, he had the opportunity to be a visiting researcher at the LAPLACE Laboratory in Toulouse, France, which further expanded his knowledge and international network. Kevin is also active as a speaker at various national and international events, and was a guest speaker on the Kick Andy talk show on national television in 2024.
