STEI ITB Holds PKS BRIDA Badung Ceremony and Discusses Product Innovation “PATRIOT” for Fishermen Empowerment
Bandung, stei.itb.ac.id - The School of Electrical Engineering and Informatics (STEI) of the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) held a signing ceremony for the BRIDA Badung Cooperation Agreement (PKS) on Wednesday, March 27, 2024, in the Labtek VIII Meeting Room. The event became an important momentum in presenting constructive collaboration between industry and educational institutions.
The signed PKS not only represents a commitment between STEI ITB and BRIDA Badung, but also serves as a starting point for innovative breakthroughs that will have a positive impact on society, particularly in the fisheries sector.
One of the main highlights of this event was the discussion about the innovative product "PATRIOT" which is synchronized with the "FishGo" application. These two products are projected to help fishermen in optimizing the fishing process. "PATRIOT" is designed to enable fishermen to visualize the presence of fish and their sea depth more accurately and provide solutions in mapping fishery resources efficiently.
The event was also attended by stakeholders from industry and academia. It is hoped that the collaboration forged through the BRIDA Badung PKS ceremony will be a significant milestone in accelerating technological advancement and empowering the fisheries sector in Indonesia.
