ITB Team Implements IoT for Livestock Digitalization in Sipora Jaya Village

In an effort to support digital transformation in the livestock sector, a team from Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB) carried out a community service program by utilizing Internet of Things (IoT) technology in Sipora Jaya Village, Mentawai Islands Regency.

This program aimed to introduce a sensor-based monitoring system to help improve the efficiency of livestock management. Through IoT technology, farmers can obtain real-time data on livestock conditions, enabling more accurate care, monitoring, and decision-making processes.

The activity not only focused on technology implementation, but also on mentoring and educating the local community so that they can sustainably utilize digital innovations. Through this initiative, ITB reaffirms its commitment to contributing to the application of appropriate technologies that have a direct impact on community welfare.
