STEI ITB Menerima Kunjungan Delegasi State Grid Corporation of China membahas Potensi Kolaborasi pengembangan Smart Laboratory

Bandung, stei.itb.ac.id  The School of Electrical Engineering and Informatics (SEEI) ITB received an official visit from a delegation of the State Grid Corporation of China (SGCC) on Thursday, August 7, 2025. The meeting was held at the Labtek VIII Building Meeting Room, 2nd Floor, with the main focus on discussing potential strategic collaboration in the field of energy technology and the development of a Smart Laboratory. . . ..

State Grid Corporation of China is a state-owned enterprise engaged in electricity transmission and distribution, and is one of the largest energy companies in the world. Established in 2002 with headquarters in Beijing, State Grid is responsible for supplying electricity to more than 1.1 billion people in China and has an international project portfolio across Asia, Europe, and South America. The company is a leader in the development of smart grid technology, renewable energy integration, and the digitalization of global power systems. State Grid is also actively engaged in strategic partnerships with educational and research institutions worldwide to strengthen innovation in sustainable energy technology.

This meeting served as an important moment for both parties to exchange perspectives, with a focus on the potential development of a Smart Laboratory as well as various forms of collaboration in research and development (R&D), education, and energy technology innovation. The State Grid delegation expressed appreciation for SEEI ITB’s role as a leading institution in the fields of Electrical Engineering and Informatics, and conveyed strong interest in exploring long-term cooperation that contributes to mutual advancement. . .
