SEEI ITB Participates in a Treasure Hunt Adventure at the Green Paradise of Dago to Celebrate ITB’s 66th Anniversary

Bandung, 19 June 2025 — In order to enliven the 66th Anniversary of Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB), the School of Electrical Engineering and Informatics (SEEI) ITB took part in one of the series of events titled “Treasure Hunt Adventure in the Green Paradise of Dago”, which was held on Thursday, 19 June 2025. This activity combined elements of recreation, education, and environmental awareness in the form of a leisurely walk and nature exploration. . .

By utilizing the green area of Dago as the adventure arena, participants were invited to enjoy fresh air while exploring natural scenery and carrying out environmental conservation missions. The event was also filled with various engaging activities, such as creativity competitions using unused materials, photo storytelling contests, and recycled waste collection actions. In addition, participants were encouraged to interact with local communities through collaborative art activities.

SEEI ITB sent its representatives to take part in enlivening this event. Based on interviews with several participants, a high level of enthusiasm and collaborative spirit was evident. One participant expressed joy at being able to connect with members of the academic community from other units while enjoying a relaxed and healthy atmosphere. Another participant emphasized the value of collaboration and creativity in transforming waste into valuable works of art.

Both participants agreed that the activity served not only as a recreational outlet, but also as a platform to strengthen awareness of the importance of preserving the environment.

SEEI ITB’s participation in this activity reflects the institution’s spirit in supporting sustainable, innovative, and inclusive initiatives—aligned with the values upheld by the ITB community. It is hoped that similar activities in the future can be further developed with more engaging challenges and broader cross-unit collaboration.
