Dr. Akhmadi Surawijaya is an Assistant Expert at the School of Electrical Engineering and Informatics, Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB). He earned his bachelor’s degree in Engineering Physics from ITB in 2001, followed by a master’s degree in Physical Electronics from the Tokyo Institute of Technology in 2005. He is currently completing his doctoral studies in Electrical and Informatics Engineering at ITB, focusing on photonic device simulation and sensor integration.

With a multidisciplinary background bridging physics, electronics, and computational modeling, Dr. Surawijaya has contributed to numerous research projects in nanoelectronics, photonics, biosensors, and diagnostics. His work emphasizes simulation-driven design, experimental validation, and real-world applications in environmental and biomedical sensing.
