Dr.techn. Wikan Danar Sunindyo, S.T., M.Sc. adalah seorang akademisi dan peneliti di bidang Rekayasa Perangkat Lunak dan Pengetahuan di Sekolah Teknik Elektro dan Informatika, Institut Teknologi Bandung (STEI ITB). Beliau memiliki keahlian dalam pengembangan perangkat lunak, rekayasa kebutuhan sistem, serta evaluasi kualitas perangkat lunak. Dengan pengalaman akademik dan profesional yang luas, Dr. Wikan aktif dalam kegiatan penelitian dan pengajaran di tingkat sarjana dan pascasarjana.

Dr. Wikan completed his undergraduate education at the Bandung Institute of Technology in 2000 with a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Informatics Engineering. He then continued his master's studies at the Technische Universität Dresden, Germany, and obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Computational Logic in 2007. He completed his doctoral education at the Technische Universität Wien, Austria, where he earned a Doctorate in Computer Science (Dr.techn.) in 2012.
As an academic, Dr. Wikan has taught various courses at STEI ITB, including Computer Programming, Information Management, and Software Engineering at the undergraduate and graduate levels. He currently serves as a Lecturer and is active in various academic and research activities in the field of software engineering.
Dr. Wikan's research interests include software engineering, software development and evolution, system requirements engineering, software project management, and smart city implementation and big data analysis. He has been involved in various research and innovation projects, such as the development of a Big Data Analysis Framework for information technology applications, a Smart City study for the Indonesian Capital City, and the implementation of Metaverse and Digital Twin in urban management.
As a researcher, Dr. Wikan has published numerous scientific papers in reputable international journals, covering topics such as information technology planning in rural areas, cybersecurity system development, and software quality analysis. He is also active in national and international seminars as a speaker and member of scientific committees.
Dr. Wikan has received numerous awards and certifications, including an Educator Certificate from the Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education in 2017. He also serves as a reviewer for scientific journals and an evaluator of national research proposals. His extensive collaborations with various industrial and government institutions demonstrate his commitment to developing software engineering science in Indonesia.
With a passion for innovation and research, Dr. Wikan is committed to continuously developing knowledge in software engineering and supporting technological innovations that benefit society. Through education and research, he hopes to produce a generation of competent software engineers prepared to face the challenges of the digital industry in the future.
