Prof. Dr. Ir. Rinaldi, M.T

INFORMATICS

Prof. Rinaldi is a lecturer at STEI-ITB who teaches lectures in the Informatics Engineering (IF) Study Program of ITB and the Information Systems and Technology (STI) Study Program of ITB. Prof. Rinaldi received his Bachelor's degree (Ir) in Informatics Engineering and Master's degree in Engineering (M.T) from the Bandung Institute of Technology, and his Doctorate degree from the School of Electrical Engineering and Informatics of ITB with a research topic of asymmetric image watermarking.

Prof. Rinaldi teaches several courses in the Informatics Engineering Study Program, including Discrete Mathematics, Linear Algebra and Geometry, Algorithmic Strategies, Cryptography, and Digital Image Processing. He also teaches Cryptography in the Information Systems and Technology (STI) Study Program.

Prof. Rinaldi enjoys writing, and has currently produced several academic books, namely Discrete Mathematics, Algorithms and Programming, Numerical Methods, Cryptography, and Digital Image Processing with an Algorithmic Approach.

Prof. Rinaldi currently specializes in cryptography and steganography, serving as a Professor in the same field. In addition to cryptography and steganography, Prof. Rinaldi is also interested in research related to digital image processing, computer vision, graph theory, and numerical computing.

Prof. Rinaldi supervises the Final Projects of Informatics Engineering and Information Systems and Technology undergraduate students, Master's Theses in Informatics, and Doctoral Theses in Electrical and Informatics Engineering. The research topics of undergraduate, master's, and doctoral students are related to image processing, computer vision, cryptography, steganography and watermarking, steganalysis, information security, fuzzy logic, graph theory, etc.
