Mohammad Ridwan Effendi is an expert in telecommunications. He graduated with a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) and the University of Waterloo, Canada. He has been an Associate Professor in Telecommunications at STEI ITB since 1988.
His expertise in both technical and regulatory telecommunications earned Ridwan a position as a member of the Telecommunications Regulatory Committee at the Indonesian Telecommunications Regulatory Body (KRT-BRTI) for two terms, from 2009 to 2012 and from 2012 to 2015. This IEEE member is also an active writer in international conference proceedings and related journals.
