Ir. Devi Willieam Anggara S.T., M.Phil., Ph.D is a Lecturer at the School of Electrical Engineering and Informatics at the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB). He was born in a former transmigration village, Bangun Jaya Village, Rokan Hulu Regency, Riau, Indonesia. He completed his undergraduate education at the University of Riau (UNRI) majoring in Informatics Engineering and completed in 2018, then continued his Masters education at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) in Computer Science and completed in 2021. Then he continued his Doctoral education at the same campus and completed in 2024 and completed his professional engineering education at Atmajaya Catholic University in the same year. During his undergraduate education he was active in the Robotics organization, namely the Engineering Robotics Club (ERC) at the University of Riau, and had participated in the Indonesian Robot Contest as a participant in the legged robot division (Hexapod Robot).

During his Master's education, he was also appointed as a Research Assistant to handle several grants or research funding, namely X-Ray Baggage Security Screening, Political Studies in several countries in Malaysia, and as a Data Analyst at the Office of Undergraduate Studies (UGS) UTM. The results of his Master's research received funding from the Malaysian Ministry of Higher Education (KPT) in improving feature extraction in Augmented Reality technology. During his Doctoral Education, he and the Student Innovation and Entrepreneurship Technology Center (UTMXCITE) team under Assoc Prof. Dr. Abdul Rashid Husain won the second hope award at the CHESS Symposium Innovation Pitch for the field of AI & Robotics organized by Petronas for the National level (Malaysia). He has also been a Data Analyst for the Ministry of Women, Family and Community Development of Malaysia. He is also currently a Research Assistant to the Rector of UTM, namely Prof. Dr. Mohd Shafry Mohd Rahim and also as his doctoral promoter. Then during his time as a lecturer, he and his colleagues in the Information Technology Expertise Group (KK TI) succeeded in obtaining grant funding to establish the Artificial Intelligence and Cybersecurity Research Collaboration Center (AISX) which was formed between the collaboration of ITB and the National Innovation Research Agency (BRIN). In addition, he is also a research member at the ITB Smart City & Community Innovation Center (PIKKC) under Prof. Dr. Ir. Suhono Harso Supangkat M.Eng. Currently, his research focus is in the field of Machine Vision, with the scope of research clusters covering Computer Vision, Image Processing, and Artificial General Intelligence (AGI).
