Arrival Dwi Sentosa, S.Kom., M.T.

Informatics

Arrival Dwi Sentosa is a lecturer in the Informatics Research Group, School of Electrical Engineering and Informatics (STEI), Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB). Born in Bandung, Indonesia, he has a strong educational background in informatics and artificial intelligence (AI). Arrival earned his Master of Engineering (M.T.) in Informatics from ITB with research related to White Spot Syndrome virus risk prediction in shrimp using machine learning approaches and expert knowledge. In addition, he also completed his Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) studies at the Beijing Institute of Technology with a focus on developing Natural Language Processing for financial applications.

Arrival's core expertise includes Large Language Models (LLM), Embedding models, and the development of domain-specific LLMs. His research focuses on developing innovative AI-based solutions, such as Natural Language Processing (NLP) and applying Computer Vision to high-accuracy shrimp larval counting. Arrival also actively contributes to the academic community through research and teaching in the areas of artificial intelligence, data structures, and algorithms.

As a lecturer at ITB, Arrival is committed to developing the next generation of technology professionals by integrating the latest theory and industry practices. With a strong vision of building an AI-based technology ecosystem, Arrival actively explores new trends in AI to support the development of Indonesia's digital economy.

He has also received numerous international awards, including the Medal of Excellence at the WorldSkills Competition in Abu Dhabi and first place at the Alcatel Lucent Enterprise Hackathon in Strasbourg, France. These awards reflect Arrival's dedication and expertise in creating technological innovations with global impact.
